Question C-30 C-cab motor home

I found one... now what do I do with it???? This sucker is huge and has to be towed, (a long way) Motor is gone but lotsa parts left in the thing. The camper is toast, someone cut the roof out and the water damage is bad. Sill has most of the original junk except for the bucket seats & visors. Would make a good car hauler flatbed with the long frame. So my questions are:

Is the C-30 front clip inter-changeable with anything else?

Forgot to add this is a 71 C-30.

One ton sheet metal is the same as !/2 and 3/4 ton. Sounds like it would make a killer car hauler.

I have C30 front clip parts(core support) on my 71 Chevy. Hood is on my GMC. The cab is on Randy's 1/2 ton GMC frame w/ the GMC front clip and my white GMC bed. All interchangeable. Erick(bisquik65) is doing the same thing w/ a 67 CC(I bought the rearend).

I looked at it too last week. I am only about 10 miles from there and still cannot justify it for the parts...as much as I want the doors and few other items...so many free trucks...so little time!

It's about 30-40 miles to my place, problem being that thing is to big to fit under a few bridges if I could find a flat bed that could haul it. Those wheels & tires make the fenders look bigger I guess... just a trick of the eyes.

Heck it would take a semi truck to cary one of those..lol. I don't think that a 16' car trailer would cut it on that truck... I thought about it though to build a ramp truck. Someone will pick it up and make good use of it. stllookn, I thought about that truck you bought last weak too, but I figured that I can't buy them all... I would soon run out of room in my parking area..lol Sounds like you got a great deal and I missed out on one..lol Congrats!! WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
