Old School Wrecker!! Opinions??

I am getting ready to paint my '67 C-50 wrecker, and I was planning on painting it a nice glossy black to match my '69 C-30 car hauler...BUT...lately I have caught the Flat Black bug. I don't want to paint my '67 C-30 dually flat, so the the wrecker is really the only thing I have to do it to, unless I get another project, and lord knows I don't need that. I got a wrecker very similiar to photoshopped flat black, with red rims, in a few different variations (Big thanks to Farnuckel!!) and it looks much cooler than I thought it would, to me. Of all my trucks, this thing might get the most attention of all of them, if I do it this way. I have attached a pic of my truck before I started doing the bodywork, and 4 potential versions of another truck similiar to mine. The one the flames with white, yellow, orange, and red flames looks killer to me. What do you guys think?

P.S. If anyone is Photoshop savvy feel free to do other versions if you feel inspired

LOL! Happy Hooker Towing....But would that mean I would have to refer to the cars I would be pulling as johns!?!

I think I will most likely go with bottom pic of the first set, although the one below would would be very popular all my buddies...and not so much with the Mrs. I would like to a see a photoshop of the grey and blue flames you guys suggested, but its beyond my ability to do a good rendition of it.

Forget the blue. Go your idea and then keep the flames on cab only.

My vote (again) for flames on the cab only...

Actually, I think they all look like crap and you should junk that old truck...

Then tell me where you're bringing it so I can slip in and pick her up!

I like this, but I'd get rid of the flames on the bed and move the other details more forward on the bed.

I was going to vote on third pic until I saw the blue flames. The red/yellow flames on flat black is about two decades behind this year truck. You might as well hang the coon-skin tail off the antenna!
The blue grey would be cool, but I disagree with ending the flames at the cab. maybe some more behind the rear wheel, or as the picture shows; but cab only would make the vehicle look like it was piecemealed together, IMO.

You need an old CB in there with a 9ft antenna shooting straight up in the air too.

The blue and grey would probably look OK, but I love the red and yellow flames, even if its not the correct period truck. It almost looks as is if its on fire now when turn on that massive beacon light on the top. I also think that the very front of it would look really cool all white.

I guess I'll be the odd ball and vote for none of the above. I think it would look cool if you had the doors lettered with a weathered look logo, and paint the rims red with chrome caps.....
