What I have here is a nice 72 Blazer firewall ( A/C) and windshield frame with the windshield still installed and good. The firewall is real solid as is the windshield frame. The lower portion of the A Pillars will need replacing and there will need some minor patching at the very bottom of the kickpanels. The windshield frame is perfect on the passenger side, a perfect header, and the lower section is excellent++. The drivers side of the frame has some surface rust and one small hole right on the top vertical which would be easily solved with a good squert of POR15 internally down the vertical frame. The vin numbers are still chalked on the original paint and there even is a metal stamping with the last 3 numbers showing on the leading edge of the firewall.
You will need to replace the dash--bolt in and tac weld accross the front.
Asking $450. and will require local pickup or can deliver within 200 miles for gas (and food!)hehehehe
If you are restoring a blazer with a crappy firewall and windshield frame---don't hesitate as this will save you mega bucks in parts, labor and frustration! Huck
Clarification~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The black paint in picture 5 ---kick panel--front floor above the floor seam--is just paint from a previous owner. The metal is all super solid above that front seam!!!

Davy, thanks for the interest but the firewall is too good to cut the frame off it. At this point, I am going to keep the two together as it is probably easier to replace as a whole then to attempt to weld in a frame and have it come out nearly as solid as it came from the factory. This one is super solid with no flex at all. From my experience, if your windshield frame is toast, so too is the firewall and it's only a matter of time before it starts to leak like crazy. A firewall is a real bugger to repair and usually not worth the effort! Regards---Huck

It will go on e-bay Sunday and if it doesn't sell there, you might need a much bigger stocking!!
