WTB: Spare tire bolt
Looking for the bolt and hardware shown in the pic on the right side.
This is for a 76 if it matters. Thanks. Last edited by ScottH; 08-25-2005 at 07:45 PM. |

have you checked around with these aftermarket companies? b/c i really dont see anyone having this hardware i have seen several of these trucks on the highways and not to many have the tire rack underneath still there you might even try your local chevy dealer? just a suggestion to lead you further on your quest

Everything you need is still available from the dealer, but the bolts are not cheap. Let me know if you want the part numbers and I will get them for you. I may be able to find the prices I paid if I can find the bill.

The part numbers you need for the bolt & hardware on the right side are: Cross Strap Bolt - 3991022 - $18.81 Nut - 6274031 - $6.80 And in case you ever need it, the other bolt part number is Bolt 1/2-13 x 13 - 370603 - $13.12. I bought all of these for my 79 2 or 3 months back. The prices are the list prices from GM parts direct, which are within a few cents of standard dealer list. Hope this helps. Doug |

I have the one from my '84 & it looks the same as the one on the right. It has a slight bow in the bolt but Im sure you could straighten it out. If you want it, send me a PM with your address...corn
