the two problems arent related but here goes

Got my new washer pump from Paul and put it in, works fine and squirts very nicely, only problem is it squirts all he time, not just when i press the button. what's up with that?

2. when i got my interior all painted i was going back to set up my stereo. Well i had this all set up before and all of it was hunky dory and just fine. Well my batt was dead so i had it replaced. alright i install all my equipment and now i'm getting nasty line noise going on. with the motor running it sounds like i've the engine in my speakers, not so nice. I switched the amp from being powered from the fuse panel to being direct line to battery, all my grounds go to the battery. well i thought i'd switch back to fuse panel powered amp and it still makes all that horrid noise, even with the engine off i get buzzing something fierce.

dunno what to do. thanks for any help guys

as far as the pump, you musta found an ign. hot wire. the stereo, are any speaker wires running next to power wires? like to the amp? get an electircal noise supressor to it goes on the power line to the radio. the electrical current next to the speaker lines does some of it.. hope I helped, Bryce

Did you change the plug wires. An unshielded wire will cause this problem. Or you can buy an inline noise supressor. But it is caused by interference from the charging, and ignition system.

Coudl be that whole electrical interference thing i've got a 900CCA battery so i'm sure that sucker is pushing out ltos of juice. regarding the pump i have it hooked up to teh old factory plug so what's with that. in regards to the stereo it could be that whole electrical interference deal because i'm running 8 guage power wire and 12 guage speaker and such. i've got the amp in an odd configuration so i'll try and do some adjusting. regarding that in line deal i'd like one of those where can i get one?

Also i've got shielded plug wires (MSD reds- expensive buggers

) the oddest thing is the truck is set up with the same equipment as before and it decides to do this now. hmm, perhaps cuz i've got my subs resting on the carpet now instead of in their boxes? grr thanks for the help fellers

Check your grounds! I have a killer stereo in my truck with no road or engine noise at all...

I have the batter grounded to the frame, the motor grounded to the spot on the frame with the battery, Also ground your amps to the frame along with your cab. I did all of this and mine sounds wonderful!

Just a thought..

yeah like i said i've got mine grounded directly to my battery, and the oddest thing is that it was perfect before i took the cab apart
