I found a quick painless way to remove rust.

Looks ok so far, the portion removed will be hidden by the second batery tray.

Actually, I popped my hood to look at something and Milo was there hiding from the neighbor kids who were throwing snaps at him. You oughta see him run when a fire cracker goes off.
Kinda makes you wonder....what did the last owner do to the poor thing????

hmmm good idea, considering i have mine sitting in the front yard at the moment and im thinking about pulling the motor (hey its easier to put in a different manual tranny that way)

Ah, the old jig saw trick. That's how I got my old ones out! It's the original Sawzall you know. LOL

As for the rust, I'd pitch those old fender wells. Toss in a new set and save the aggravation.

My wife used to be in the habit of blowing the horn on her car when it's parked at the farm before she turned it over . It seems a few cats have gotten chewed up in the fan blades!

It takes away some of the starter's power when they get caught up in the belts!

If you ever see a cat tail laying around, ya know happened.
