Getting informaton from GM on you truck?????

where on the net do you go to get information on your vehicle by placing you vehicle id and getting a build sheet of your truck.EG engine size colour(you options) and gm will send a thick book telling you about the truck.specs from point a to b and everything elsethat has to do with that year of that truck and your trucks exact specs when it came off the factory floor. i know you get it from gm but cannot find the web site.thanks

You won't find any vehicle specific info, only generic model info. Look in the FAQ for a thread called Restoration packet.
