Parts and engine(307 2bbl) for sale (south TX) *UPDATED*

I have a lot of stuff for sale that we don't need. First off, I don't have any "rare" parts. No tachs, vacuum gauges, tilts, etc. I'm never lucky enough to find that stuff for some reason. If you don't see something just ask, I probably have it somewhere.

8 lug disc brake setup from 72 GMC 3500 SRW truck. That's EVERYTHING, spindles, A-arms, etc. I don't have the brake lines, MC, front springs, or booster. The rotors aren't really useable for a driver so they'll get pulled. I'll take $50 for all of it.

hood from the same 72 GMC, I have the emblems but some pegs are busted off. It has some rust on the front nose, but not really bad. Just some pinholes that can be filled in. $20

two wiper cowls, one is yellow from a '69 and has an antenna hole, and one is a rare radio delete cowl that's factory orange from a 72 GMC(doesn't have an antenna hole). They're really nice, no rust holes. $25 for the one with the antenna hole, $35 for the one without it.

tailgate from a 72 chevy fleetside, needs a LOT of rust repair. it's not bowed, just needs new metal in a lot of places. it has more bondo than i thought. the metal is weak in places below the CHEVROLET. $30, no shipping.

set of off-white seatbelts from a 1970 C/10. This is only the left and right side, no center. Both retractors work good and easy, and the buckles are in good shape. The GM emblems look awesome. The buckle end of the belts are really dirty, I tried cleaning 'em with soap and water but they need more work. See pics below. $25 shipped.

power steering box from a 2WD 1972 GMC 3500 SRW truck. came off a daily driven welding truck. $50 shipped to the US.

passenger's door from the SAME 72 GMC, this thing is 99% rust free. has a black door panel and arm rest. the window rolls up and down easy and the vent window opens/closes. the frame on it isn't rusted out either. it had a white tripod mirror but it was busted so I took it off, can't find it now. it has some small rust spots starting on the inner door bottom. it also has some damage where the top door hinge bolts on. looks like someone backed into something with the door open, could be welded up and I can do that if needed. $45, pick up only or shipping arraged by the buyer.

set of off-white arm rests from a 70, will fit 69-71. they're in great shape, not cracked or torn. the just need a real good cleaning. $20 shipped.

MORE STUFF...........

6 lug 15x6" GM steel wheel with a good 235/75 Bridgestone tire, $15
old 8 lug 16x6 one piece steel rim, no tire, recently painted white, $10
old 8 lug 16x6 one piece steel rim, white, kinda rusty, $5

misc knobs and switches: radio knobs, headlight switches, bezels, etc................... see pics below.
misc. lenses, a lot of cab marker lights(original 69-87), wire harnesses, etc..................all good used driver stuff, can get pics.

set of headlight bezels for 71-72 GMC trucks. chrome is good and the backsides have some rust, but it's not rust through, just surface. i'll polish 'em, clean the rust off, and remove any dents. $15 shipped.

hood latch for 71-72 GMC trucks, has surface rust but just needs wire brushing and paint and it'll be good to go. worked good before we tore the truck apart. $15 shipped.

set of top and bottom passenger side door hinges from a 72, they work good, still have factory orange paint on 'em. $15 shipped

All this stuff is either at my house or out at my Granddad's house. I'm in Beeville, Texas 78102. Most of the stuff I have is for 69-72 trucks. If anybody thinks I'm asking too much for something send me a PM, i'm easy to work with. I'll also trade parts for a set of good 70-71 deluxe metallic green door panels or a set of 16.5x8.25 GM 8 lug wheels, or one 16.5x9.75 GM 8 lug wheel.

Sorry, no cabs. I did have one but the floors/rockers/cab corners were gone, and the roof started rusting out so I just sold it for scrap metal.

I would also like a pic of the tailgate and a shipping quote (to 47637). Is it the one with the chevrolet lettering or plain?

el curioso, i can get pics in a couple days but shipping won't be cheap, all i have to work with is UPS.

70GMCer, yep, it's for non AC and i'll get pics in a couple days. not sure how much shipping will be, i'll check. you just wan't the outer fiberglass box right? it has a motor but i can't guarantee anything.

w314speed, what service would you use to pick it up? i'll have to try to find a box big enough to cover it.

72str8flush, el-curioso has first dibs on the gate. it does have the Chevrolet letters stamped in it and it's an original gate, not a repro.

zachary2001, i have the steering wheel here at the house so i should have a pic by the end of today. i'll check shipping ASAP.

i'll try to get pics of most of this stuff ASAP. thanks for all the replies and I'll get back to you guys when I get the pics.

I drove over to Grandpaw's and picked up most of the stuff like the gate, door, and heater box.

The tailgate has rust around the bottom and the metal is starting to split and separate on the bottom, and it has bondo around some of the letters and some rust holes about the size of a nickel. It's not bowed at all, at least not like the one on my truck. It even has all three chrome trim pieces: left, right, and the middle one above the gate handle and all of 'em just need to be polished, they don't even look dented or heavily scratched.

The door is like I said, 99% rust free. It had a little surface rust on it and the PO sanded the bottom and coated it with black rustoleum. The outer door skin didn't look dented or anything, and it's not rusty. Still has factory orange paint with a company name painted on it too. There aren't any of the usual holes for jr west coast mirrors either, just three for the factory white tripod mirror. Couldn't find the mirror though.

The heater box is kinda dirty, but I'll try to clean it before I take the pics. It had a blower motor on it, but it's gone for some reason. I can put another one on it if it sells. I'll include a used heater core for $10 if needed. I'll check the motor before I put it on there too. The box doesn't have any cracks on the body or around the mouting holes.

Pics of everything will be uploaded by this weekend hopefully. I'll also be updating the main post if I find anything else to sell.

Just looking for the outer heater box and I believe it has the diverter flap attached inside the box, or is that attached to the inside part. It's been a long time since I saw the insides of one. No need for the core or motor. That lightens the load for shipping. Also do you have a nice upper grill bar for GMC (chrome)?

I am also looking for 6cyl 3-speed shift linkage and clutch pull rod for my 69 C-10. I saw that you had the 3-spd column, so thought I would ask. I pulled my engine for overhaul this weekend and found all of the linkage pivots to be 1/2 worn away.

Thanks.

If everybody that's interested in the parts could post or PM the name of their city, zip code, and whether it's a business address or not, that would help a lot with calculating the shipping on the UPS site.

thanks

Hi Robert! Thanx!
Email me a few pics of the suspension parts, keep me posted on the calipers.
My Longhorn is still waiting...too many hours here on my end to get done what I started!
I am looking at using these parts possibly, redo them and get them ready for my front end...
Rotors...well, If you dont have a good pair, go ahead and sell those to another fella.
Email me the pics...

So you don't want the rotors right? Pics are gonna take awhile 'cause I have to use a regular camera then scan them. Good thing there's a lot of one hour photo places around here! I'll include as much of the original mounting hardware as I can find, not really sure where it got stashed. The truck was a running 350/sm465 one ton flatbed but the motor got pulled and it sat for maybe 5 years till I got it, so the front suspension might not be as bad as I think it is.
