And so it begins:
Greetings all,
I have officially started the resto-customization of my 1969 C-20 pickup. I will be posting pictures as it progresses. The following will be done: 1) Frame media blasted and painted. 2) Front suspension converted to a 78 3/4 ton disk brakes setup. 3) Rear axle swapped for a 14-bolt(currently has an Eaton). 4) Drip Rail removal 5) Gas Tank relocated to twin saddle tanks under the bed with working gas gauge on both tanks. 6) Custom Gas doors in the bed sides. 7) Conversion from an AC cab to a non-AC cab. 8) Smoothing the Engine compartment 9) Dual Frenched power Antennas. 10) Caddy Taillight conversion. 11) 2/4 drop 12) 350HP Chev 350 with TH350 13) Painted Candy Brandywine over Gold Metalic with a white top and Red Pearl ghost flames. 14) 1500watt custom sound system 15) Shaved Door handles 16) Shaved side trim. This is not just another trailer queen but a working truck that I drive more often than not so usability is paramount. I will be posting pictures as I get stuff done here so check here often for updates. http://community.webshots.com/album/444853003BVwZNh

Update:
One side of the bed stripped, molding and side marker reflector shaved, the stake pockets and random holes filled. See the link in the above post for updated pictures.

These are my favorite threads. I love watching these old beat up trucks transform into works of art.
Ogier, Thanks for the Entertainment, I look forward to seeing more progress pics.
