Hot in cab temp. fixed
Thanks for the advise from the members. I fixed the hot air issue with my truck by doing as some suggested and adding an inline shut off valve to the heater hose. Now even with the engine at 180 degrees, only cool air gets into the cab.
Hey 2nova2, it is the 5/8 " lower hose that comes from the manifold, that supplys the heated coolant into the lower port on the heater core , on a non a/c truck.

i have the same problem so are you saying just put a shut off valve on the hose that runs from the manifold into heater core???
