Rear End Exchange
I have a 1970 that comes off the line faster than a squirell after a signficant other. I'd like to go from a 6 lug to a 5 lug, and lower the rpm's on the top end. What assembly will interchange with the least complications?

Find a 71/72 with a 3.07 gear. You probably have a 3.73 or even 4.11.

If he goes the new axle route, he will also need the drums, and new gears... he wanted to lower the cruise RPM too.
