Lower Control Arms (help)

building a 70th chevy, iam bagging it and i would like to know if i can use the stock arms or do i need to get aftermarket ones. if i can use the stock ones do i need to do any modifications to then. I also would like to see pics of anybodys front suspension.

Yes you can use you stock arms. If you look you will find some pics on the forum. check out www.***************** for bag cups and plates

Stock lower arms are fine. Cups are needed (dissenting opinions in 3... 2... ). Only mod required will be to remove the steel bump/steering stop bracket.

Monroe 32207 or Gabriel 82007... $25-30 each.

That depends on what spindle you are going to run. If you go with a 3" spindle and 15" wheels you will have to mod the stock A-arms. They will need to be trimmed or they will rub the rim at full lock....

Here's my 82 Blazer before I changed to a Scott's IFS...
