Can you tell me what they are? Also, I am trying to find a replacement exhaust manifolt blot/stud for teh left front hole that the PS bracket attaches to. anyone got one, or know where I can find one? Much thanks in advance me amigos! -Chuckster

In the first picture you have two vacume fittings.. the small one looks like the signal line for the distributer and the second like it might be for a PCV fitting.
I'm not sure what the gizmo in the second pic is.

A=Vacuum advance from carb to dizzy
B=Crankcase ventilation but not the PVC valve. Goes to fire arrestor spacer that sits on top of carb to RH valve cover

I just installed headers and I used a long bolt with two nuts on it where you are describing. One nut to tighten the header flange, and the other to sandwich the PS pump bracket with the bolt head.
Edit: The manifold had the same bolt with a spacer instead of the nuts. Last edited by Frizzle Fry; 09-12-2005 at 02:14 PM. |

Thanks
Thanks all for the parts ID info, and the suggestion for the PS bracket stud.
I am really trying to make it look OEM, though, so I am trying to locate a bolt/stud that looks like the one in the illustrated parts book. tThis is a crude drawing, but it shows what I am talking about. It must have gotten lost when it was being rebuilt. Gotta find a replacement. Any ideas men?

B is the fresh air side of the PCV valve - breather in factory air filter housing.
Spark arrestor type is longer and has one more bend in it....had to go under the air cleaner. The stud you are looking for...harder than heck to find....try GM parts. |

Dude, thanks
Hey guys, do any of you have any pictures of all the hose routings on your BB's?
I don't know why I did not ask about this sooner, but it makes sense. My rig is trying to be totally OEM, so if you have any pictures of teh hoese and tubes we just described while in their installed locations, it would be VERY VERY appreciated Thanks ahead of time! -Chuckster
