Better

to get the financial manager involved ya think? That front clip was only 4 hours from me in Atlanta, soooo tempting, but I have more time than money, and welder, bondo, and scrapsheet metal, cobble together a decent lookin 70 LB driver, maybe take it up to Indiana to peddle it? hehe.

I`ve found parts to be more reasonable here between fellow members. For the seller,it`s a direct market. For the buyer,it`s a great source.

As far as the deals go I've had a heck of a time moving my parts on the board. I have had much better luck moving them in local adds. To many people on the board want you to figure out how to ship large parts after your add says no shipping!

I've got parts up here in Pittsburgh that could maybe help you a little with your option problem. What do you know most of the sheet metal is from a 68.

Don't get me wrong, Hell, I'd love a road trip and come back with goodies at bargain prices but I need to have something that will make it there and back....Plus the 3 bucks a gallon ripoff. I'll keep dreaming of the close to home score.

O.K., so maybe it is hard to even give something away on here sometimes. The big stuff has to be local, what with gas prices and shipping and all. I know that I've cried numerous times at the deals from PA, OR, etc. that I have to pass up. Heck, even NC is too far away for free parts(sometimes)!

It all depends upon how bad you want it. I enjoy road trips. Meeting board members, seeing the sights. I know I took a hit on labor day weekend with my AR, LA, TX trip, but really enjoyed it and was able to sell and buy some nice parts.

Since everyone cannot do these trips, that is why I always try to post notice when I make mine - in case I can help move parts around.
