500 for a parts truck

would 500 be worth it for a parts truck. it is an 81-86 long/fleet. body is in decend condition, the orange color. it is a cheyenne. its got a 305 that supposidly runs but is missing a distro. not sure on the tranny. all the glass is good. the dashpad is gone but the cluster and brushed alum trim is still good... and get this, it has the origional radio in it.

so do you all think it is worth 500 big ones???

if you have the money and need some parts that would cost atleast that than ya its worth it and also keep in mind what you dont want or dont need you can sell here or on e-bay and possibaly make more than what you paid for the truck plus got the parts you needed just a thought from a guy that always screws himself by not having the money at the right times

I paid 300 for my project truck, lol

Gotta be worth something with a decent body, good interior / engine / tranny!

well its sitting at the very back of a honda junkyard. it owner would have to move about 30-45 cars just to get it out... personally i think that would be wouth the money to watch.

but right now i don't have the money but hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks i will be leaving to help a telephone company down in the mississippi, louisana area. if i get to go i get a 1000 sign on bonus and 2000 a week, along with 75 per/dem per day.

if i get to go down there 500 of my 1000 sign on bonus will prolly go toward this truck.

Save your money, and look for something in MS. You might find one you can hear run, has better parts, and not as "Fugly". If it's takin up space in your driveway, or yard, it should at least be something you will be glad you got. $500.00 for a "might" run is too much. JMO
