Price for original air cond?

I just picked up some parts from a guy and when I got there he asked me if i needed air cond.
the parts are in a 70 gmc and look all original.
What's the going price for the complete setup?
would it be worth it to get it,I looked thru a lot of post but did not see any A/C for sale.
Thanks
Bob W

I offered a SB set for $150 and a BB set for $200...complete with brackets and holding a charge. The only catch was the buyer had to come pull it...

It depends where you are. Ed from MotherTruckers was selling setups less the engine/condenser stuff for 50 bucks a few years back. Apparently he could hardly give em away.........even though I never could get him to sell me any of em.

I can sympathize with anyone pulling a system out of a truck! I am doing that now and it will take some time for sure. I am pulling the dash, wiring harnesses from the engine compartment and cab as well as all the hardware and brackets. I want it all original! This does take some time...LOL! If I were going to pull and sell as system to someone...I would charge $500-$750 at least!

Thanks for the replys,I think I will get it,even if I don't use it ,it should be worth a few bucks in about 20 years.
I need to go look at the bed on that truck anyway,It had a dent on 1 side but the rest looked very straight.I need a bed for my cheyenne, the 1 on it is shot.
Thanks
