Cruise Control wire routing on steering column?

Hi All!

Anybody know how the wire from the turn signal lever(cruise Control Lever) is routed or have a pic?

I took the steering wheel off to mount the lever and could not see how to route the wire inside the steering column

The wire exits/ enters the column right where the turn signal lever meets with the plastic on the T/S cam. It then follows the T/S wires down and out the bottom. It may be easier to see if you partially remove the T/S.

Hope this helps - Bob

turn signal wire

does it go in where the lever goes in? or run along side then go in?

I tried removing t/s guts but no luck, I pushed the hazard switch in to activate, but still no clarence.

The cruise control wire goes in where the T/S lever goes in.

In order to remove the T/S guts, you will have to remove the thin cover on the bottom of the column under the dash in order to free up the T/S wires. You will also have to remove the T/S lever and the three shoulder screws that attach the T/S guts to the column.

I am assuming you don't have a tilt column.
