Eaton HO52
Does anyone make 3:73 or higher gears for a Eaton HO52 ? If so who ? Does anyone have a set for sale? Have a 1969 C-20 daily driver,gas prices are killing me.

you are SOL, sorry. Best gear aftermarket is a 3.90:1 About all you can do is buy yourself some taller tires or change to a 14 bolt that has 3.73 gears.

you could put in a dana 61 with 3:1 gears.

Or a gear vendor overdrive unit. They use them in motorhomes and dragsters!!!!! I have a unit ready to build my truck that will lower my 3:42 to 2:78. NICE

Also a dana60 from a leaf sprung 2wd 3/4 ton truck, could have 3.54 gears. Andy(longhornman) has a 4.10 rear for sell, not sure what you have I'm assuming 4.56s.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |

Dana 61 is the cheapest way to do it.
