Recharging AC ?

On the factory 72 AC which valve do you connect the hose to when recharging with a canister and hose adaptor. All I see are two valves. One close to the passenger side hood hinge and the other on the cannister on top of the compressor. Any advise is appreciated also. I only have one cannister.

The thinner lines/hoses would be the high pressure side. The heavier, fatter lines/hoses would be the low pressure (suction) side. Fill it thru the low pressure side with the engine running. Do not attempt to fill it thru the high pressure side with engine running. Hope this helps.

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.

It should really be leaked checked vacuumed down, and if the system has been opened to the air it really should be vacced down to remove moisture and uncondenseables.
