Good weekend at the track.

Got some good weather this weekend ( raining for a week ) and got to make some passes at the track. This was only the second time at the track and ran 5 passes in the 12's on motor.

Best was: 12.94@102.108, 1.796 60' track is at just under 2000' I think, close to that I know.

Taking it for some tuning on a chassis dyno, think I'm running a bit lean at the top end, I thought the MPH should have bin a bit higher. after that>>>>>
Below is what I have in store for it, 11's WILL take place

that sounds pretty sweet you must have a pretty nice motor! Do you have any pics of the truck and what kind of motor tranny combo are you running. Is your truck on the www.dragtruk.com website if not you need to add it!

I have some pics I was going to re-post, But to make a long story sort my monitor was going and I lightened them so they looked good on it, now with my new monitor I see they look like crap . I will take new ones and post up the specs.

Good thing you mentioned Dragtruck web site, I called BS on a guy months ago and never really checked back. Well a buddy of mine changed my claimed times to low 11's all motor with my computer while I was getting him a beer and never told me What a dick, LOL.

Here is a link from two weekends before:

the victor junior would be much better suited to your application than the air gap. i would bet the vic jr outta the box will outflow your ported airgap. just be prepared to jet up when you do the intake swap. that open plenum lets in a ton more air

sweet pics! Love the truck. I don't think you'll see a noticable gain in the single plane intake unless you plan to bottle feed it or turn some serious RPM's.... you might even fall off a little. JMHO

I would go with the strip dominator ...and a bigger carb.

Also....how are the reaction times?

Hopefully someday I plan on building a 400 with a lot of torque, and that is the color engine I plan on doing since my truck is a bright yellow. Did you paint is yourself or someone else. Either way real

Yes going to bottle feed, main reason considering a single plain. I shift around 6300-6400.

The track doesn't have both timers , it would cost to much to upgrade. They just set up for the jr's and the back for the big kids
