Pics of custom stereo console?

I have an uncut dash and radio delete plate. I want to put a CD player in but I don't want to cut the dash. I will be removing the tank from the cab and putting kick panel pods in as well as looking for another bucket seat. So, I am looking for what some of you have done in the way of mounting a stereo on a custom made console.

I plan on mounting mine in the glovebox. I have already made a custom glovebox insert that will mount my stereo and still have half to put "junk" in.

Several companies like Metra, Scosche, Best, and American International make housing kits that can be mounted to the underdash area or even a nice overhead console between the sunvisors. It is made of ABS plastic and all standard size and shaft style radios can be installed in it. Many people also use these for installing radios in golf carts, ATVs, older 4x4 vehicles, etc. They even make a water resistant cover as well. Check out the pics I have attached.

Hope this helps you out.

fade 94,
If you plan to run buckets I have a custom console for sale that has 2 gauges in it now but it would hold a cd player just fine! I'd take 100.00 plus the ride!

That console is sweet & I like the glove box too. Ive been toying with the idea of building a console for mine & also thought about just mounting it in the factory console but I like the glove box idea now too. Decisions decisions...
