Installing electric choke on holly carb in the morning. Read directions is it really that easy if anyone has any tips.

do you mean you're converting to electric from a manaul choke, or you just need to hook up a wire? If you're just hooking up the electric, if there's not a wire there that's got power to it with the key on then run a wire from the ignition unfused port on the fusebox. Then adjust the choke so it snaps shut when you put the gas pedal to the floor, and then it should slowly open once you start the truck until it's straight up an down when the truck is warm. If you're adding choke, I think it's pretty striaghtforward also. Anynone else feel free to jump in and correct me if I'm wrong on anything.

I have to do this too, I'm going from Holley manual to Edelbrock electric.
Is this the way to go then?
Whould be a short wire which is good.

I piggy backed the + wire off the wire that connects the HEI to the fuse box. So the red wire basically run from the side of the carb to the dist.
