Power Assist (Not Power Steering) on 67 C20?

Anybody heard of power assist on 67 trucks? Its not a steering stabilizer and its not power steering. Any info on this?

It is an external power steering ram set up likr on old corevettes. They leaked real bad and of the few trucks that were so equipped, many have been removed and ditched.
This was avalible on 10 - 30 series trucks.

Here's a picture for an improved learning experience. Just look a little further down on my 68 parts for sale post.

I had a 67 Panel truck with "power assist". The only parts of the system worth keeping/selling were the pump and brackets off the 292 I6. As Andy stated, these systems leak like a seive, and mine was no exception. Pretty goofy looking setup.
