Talk about a flash from the past. I remeber that truck from the magazines. That thing is retro 80's but still looks sweet. Too bad it would take a bunch of bux to get it updated. If it goes for a decent price it's still nice enough to make it worth the trouble...

My choice in number two. Man that thing is about as clean as you can get. What kind of new truck can you get for that money that will give you as much fun? None.IMO

Ken, that is the ever so popular 88-91 front end, just the work truck version. I actually like that version better than the six headlight one because of it simplistic looks. I would however, not go with the monochromatic theme...it is outdated IMO and takes away from the original good looks of it.

Yeah i agree iv'e never seen one of our trucks with a chop top that i though looked right.

I think the cabs are too big and bulky and whan the top comes down it makes it look squatie.

Other than that and the front end it's an awesome truck.

I agree that it looks clean. It's actually a combo of the paint and front roll pan that bother me. A billet insert would fix the grill. I don't know what to do with the roll pan though.

In reference to the chop top, I have seen them done that are astheticlly correct but it's a lot of work for very little results. These truck don't look bad with a 2" chop if the roof is split both ways and moved out, then the posts are cut shorter rather than leaning the windshield back. When it's done this way the truck just looks smoother, but you have to look twice to know whats done....

I think this is/was a board members truck (at one point in time anyhow)...I like the chop on this one, to me, it is well done and proportional

Now if we could just find a way to get rid of the vent windows

I have been thinking of doing a 2" chop top. Any pics of one done like this? How about pics of one chopped 2" with the glass laid back?

Somebody on here was supposed to be working on a "kit" for the one piece glass for our trucks. I don't remember who it was, but it has been awhile since it has been mentioned.

It was me, I was relying info from the company that was makeing them and I was going to get everyone in contact with the company but my original thread was closed due to harrasing comments so I figured Id woudnt bring it up again because of the negative comments.
