Those mirrors actually look good on there.
Very impressive. Did you think of that yourself, or did you see it on some one els's rig?

Cornutz:
I believe these are off a 92 or 93 Miata.

Longhorn Man:
Saw them while walking around a junkyard. For $6 I thought I'd take a chance. Wanted something different and more updated that would blend in with the rounded body lines of the truck better than any of the vintage stock GM mirrors.

I believe they fit late 70's and early 80's.

Not hardly; the shop's not mine either, just the truck. I can barely get in the Viper and if the top is on it I can't get in it. It belongs to a woman named Sue and yes, she races it. Her license plate number is HT RD SU (Hot Rod Sue).

I'd like to see a wide angle on the mirrors too. I'm always keeping my eye out for pedistal mirrors. There are a lot to choose from out there. Some of the one's I like are: Dodge Stealth/3000gt, C5/C6 Corvette, BMW Z3, 92-96 F150(have them), and maybe Miata now...

I like the mirrors.. I don't like the ones on my truck and have been mulling over what to replace them with.

Those look very good. The whole package is very nice! Those mirrors, does the right side have the old 'objects appear larger...' lense? I want some cool mirrors, but the Panel has such a huge blind spot I need a good right side blind spot mirror.

front/rear sidemarkers for a 70-76 firebird.

then you need the trim that goes on top of those, and the trim is paintable.

edit: if you look at the pic of the rear sidemarker, the trim is already on that one, don't be confused like i was.

Yeah, that's them.

I cut the white plastic rim off all the way around, cut the mounting hole tabs on the truck light opening, put the light in from the backside and the bezel from the front side. This sandwiches the lip of the truck sheet metal between the plastic light housing and the metal bezel. I threaded the pins on the bezels for a 10-24 nut, as I recall, and screwed the nuts on the pins.
