For all out power build up a big block. You can get really good power for a relatively cheap price if you went with a 383. I think the question is how to get your truck to hook up with some serious muscle.

There's no replacement for displacement. Go for the most cubic inches you can. As far as tranny's go, tubro 350 is best bang for the buck. IMO

540ci merlin block to start with, the sky is the limit after that. Or should I say the checkbooks the limit! If ya have tons of power, get a th400, or a stout th350!
