Welder Opinion Wanted: Miller 251

I poised a question a few months back about buying a welder. I have decided on the Miller 251. I plan to do frame and suspension work on my new truck first, so think I will need the bigger welder. Who has it and any drawbacks to it? I found it at 2 places online for $1815 with free shipping. Thanx for any help.

The Miller teams have message forum here http://www.millermotorsports.com/mbo...isplay.php?f=3

Your choice is the dandy of mig welders. You can ask on that board about who has the best price probably today and what others have had on experience with warranty and online shipping companies. Miller has good warranty..and they transfer to a new owners if there time left also from manufacture date. Lots of welder generators have been selling lately due to the hurricanes and such.
Thats a class machine there your considering.

Ebay search of miller 251 brought up same welders at $1766...to $1799.95 also with free shipping. Some say to just take the ebay ads to a local dealer and say match the price. You'll pay taxes on local but may have better service if warranty needed. They can't really refuse warranty though.
