Thumbs up My Truck Came Home!

Finally got my truck home from the paint and body works today! Have a few things to put back on it such as rear bumper, hook up the heater controls (not at all needed right now in Kansas!), check the lights for operation and few other items. Not a show quality paint but I like it. Will try to get some pics of it on the board after I figure out how to post them and operate the new digital camera we bought. Just glad to get it home after all this time. Have to work this weekend (Help pay for this! ) so can't spend Saturday or Sunday working on it. Can't wait to start driving it. My 16 year old can't wait either!

Thumbs up

Hot Damn! Kansas is a better place now! He-hee! Glad to hear you're gettin' closer. Haven't seen you for a couple weeks, but I can definately imagine that big ol' grin on your face! Keep me posted on the the debut . Maybe we can drag ol' Yukon and Blazerboy out for another get-together. If we try real hard, we might just have some fun, he-hee! Hell, we won't even have to try, I KNOW we will!!! Now remember, try and keep that big ol' grin under control MB! Congrats man!!

Why don't you come across the MO/Kan line and visit me in Wellington MO with your truck!
I have been to some type of gas station or truck stop on the way to Dallas TX there in Wellington KS. All I remember is that it was about 2 AM I believe, the cashier was kind of strange, and the cash register was to the left of the door where we went in. Bought a Dew and candy. It was on Spring Fling 2001... we were on a charter bus with the top 20 kids from my schools FFA and FCCLA.

Since I'm on the board, and not far from Wellington (KS), I'll try and answer. My guess is that you were at the service area on I-35 just north of Wellington. Since I-35 is a toll road through Kansas, you would have had to take a toll exit and go 1 mile west of I-35 on US 160 to get to the east edge of Wellington (KS). Hope this helps, but now you have to tell us where Wellington, MO is located, other than the south end of a north bound mule, he-hee!

Wellington MO is about 35 miles east of Kansas City. Go along I-70 and get off at Odessa and go 10 miles north on Hwy 131. Wellington is also about 1 mile north of Hwy 24.. just got up 131. It is in the area of Lexington, Odessa, Napoleon, Bates City, Napoleon, Oak Grove, Buckner, Levasy........ in Lafayette County.

Congrats on the new paint. What time do you get to work and leave work. Maybe I could meet you in the parking lot to snap some pics and then I will post them for you. Can't wait to see it!
