Drive shaft retarder?
I am looking for someplace to buy a driveshaft retarder. It looks like a disk brake rotor on the rear end where the shaft attaches. Very similar to what is on monster trucks. I have found a vendor but it is magnetic and not recommended for small trucks. I think older vehicles had them especially larger trucks.

Same thing as parking brake, but made for everyday use. They are also used on Ambulances and some fire trucks. I found a place that makes one that uses electro magnets. My Dodge is a diesel but is also an automatic trans. Being an auto, rules out an affective exhaust brake and also voids the trans warranty. The one I am talking about is an electric brake that engages in 4 adjustable steps. Can't find anything on it, yet anyway.
