Went to the track tonight...

Me and a bud from work wanted to go watch the drag races at the local 1/8 mile track, and ended up running a few times. Best I got was a 10.22 @ 66mph He ran a 10.40 or so with his 360 dodge, wasn't too bad I was figuring for ole heavy truck. Anyone else go and run just to see or for the fun of it?

I run mine for the fun on it, nothing serious. Best I've run is a 7.64 @89mph. Should be a little faster now with the new engine. Check out some of my video's. Link is in my Signature.

It sure is fun running at the strip...I havent ran too many times this year...I've been pretty sick, but my best time in the 1/8th this year is 6.95 at 100 mph. Thats with N20. With out N20 it's in the 7.50 range mid 11's in the 1/4

I run almost anything and everything I own at the track! I can't wait to get my drag truck on the track. These trucks do well with a sticky tire and a posi!

I haven't run my truck anywhere yet, but my old musclecar typically runs 8.1xx @ 94.xxx MPH! I realize a big part of the problem must be the inept driver, but c'mon, there's gotta be something I can do to get off the line harder!

My BEST 60' is a 2.022.

This isn't the place for such a car, which is why I haven't mentioned what it is.

I am planning on running my truck next year in a team bracket racing competition. My car is too inconsitant for bracket racing, but sure is fun!

My buddy and I used to run with a 355 ci and best was 12.83 in quarter. I haven't raced it with the current 331 ci but plan on making a few passes after I get the 572 crate in there. By design, and running it on the software dyno I should be able to run low 10's on the street. That should be enough to make those Dodge and Corvette owners #*&% when I pass them going uphill. Plan to stick some nitrous in there at some point in time later just incase I'm sleeping at the light. Can you tell I'm tired of being @#*^ with?
