Hey y'all, it's been a while. I know it's been asked before, but I can't seem to find the link.

Who makes the best floor patch panels? I don't like what Goodmark has to offer. I installed some good ones before that were heavier, and they didn't have the "epd" coating. All I remember is the label had a blue star on it, I think. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to find out who actually makes these floor panels, I'd guess only one or two companies actually manufacture them, the rest (like Goodmark) are just resellers

I'm not sure who has the best fitting floor pans but I too would like to know. I've used the Tri-plus replacement panels and with the exception of the front floor pans the fit was decent. I noticed that Brothers carries a floor pan that doesn't appear to have the black edp coating. But I have no personal experience using them.

I bought a pair for mine a long time ago and had the logo you are refering to and they were really thick metal and no edp coating. A company called "TABCO". Just trying to help out with what he requested. Not trying to step on any of the vendors toes here. Probably one of the vendors carries that brand maybe.

GMCPaul recommened tri-plus stuff to me when I met him in Carlisle this summer. Thats the stuff I bought. I haven't gotten to installing the stuff yet but they seem to be of good qaulity.

no matter what, you have to make it fit. all the panels are "close" so pick the cheapest. the thinnest patch panel is good enough because any new piece of metal will be thicker than the rusted metal you're welding to.
