Shorty Headers
I need to know the part # or the application for those shorty small block headers that will fit our trucks. I'm lowering it so stock ones hang to low.

Those are great looking headers! How does the other side look? I like the good plug clearance.

Hi Slammed67, Are those the Sanderson CC3 stainless headers? I was just looking at them on Sandersons site. Hows the plug clearance behind the headers?
Your frame and engine look great. I wish I could take mine down to the frame later on down the road.

Denny,
I used Taylor wires with 90 deg. boots and there is a good amount of clearance.

Will those from Jegs clear the shift/clutch linkage on a manual transmission? I'd like to get a set for the Blazer. Thanks, Jeff.

Thanks Slammed67. I really like the looks of those block huggers. Have you run the engine yet with them? I am curious how much torque they give. Hows the clearance by the starter for the exhaust pipes? I think my old eyes are playing tricks on me, but your starter looks shorter then mine. Do you have a special starter? Sorry about all the questions, but are those the CC3 headers? Thanks

Denny,
Yes they are the CC3 headers and thers is a sufficiant amount of plug clearance (with 90 deg. boots). With the stock starter, it looked a little tight so I chose to go with a mini-starter to avoid any possible problems. I think it would work with the stock starter, but the pipe might have to be bent forward slightly before it curves to the back of the truck. Sanderson lists the CC3 as an application for out trucks, so I'd assume they would work. I guess you could contact them and ask to find out for sure. Jay
