Trailer Hitch
Has Anyone put in a hidden hitch? I need one to go on a 71 with a roll pan. I know Early Classics used to sell them but they quit. The local fabricater wants 400 to make one that will work. I am trying to avoid that if I can.

I have one of Early Classic Hidden Hitches. Really easy to install, just a ***** to wrestle up in place and mark the holes. Great Quality. I think summit may have had some in their catalogs. One for a 73 would probably work just as well. I can't believe Early Classic stopped selling them. They use to advertise the crap out of them.

i went to the junkyard and picked up a 89 chevy astro vans hitch for 35 bucks. spent 1 1/2 hours torching and welding, didnt drill any holes in my frame, spray painted it black and it looks like something you would spend 200 dollars on. then i made a receiver to hold my licence plate, then i slide that out and my hitch in. i can get pics if you want, but if you want to save money and have access to a torch and welder then it isnt hard at all. good luck, Ben
