Yea, but I weighed an 83' K10 I had once and the wieght on the title was 900 lbs. off (low). Today my errands will take me right by a public scale, and I'm going to weigh my 71' 2wd LWB. So I'll post again here this evening.

Mine is right at 5000lbs.70 lwb with disc up front, 402, 700R4, AC, PS, PB, buckets, rear helper springs (coils in rear) fiberglass topper, spray in bed liner, tow hitch, 31" tires on steel wheels with hub caps, spare tire and a full tank of gass. I talked to another 70 owner and his is at 5000lbs too.

OK, I just returned from the public scale up in Placerville CA at the Fruit Growers Association. I paid $4.00 and they weighed it without me in it. It's a 71' Cheyenne 10 LWB with 350/th350 with P/FDB, P/S, Bench seat, no A/C, in cab fuel tank removed and replaced with steel saddle tanks on each side (each of them 1/2 full of fuel), no spare tire, aluminum wheels, and a tranny cooler. The old girl weighed in at 4100 lbs. The weighmaster stated that the spec that the scales are held to is plus or minus 60 lbs by law. He states this particular scale is no more than 20 lbs. off. Thats my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
