Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

Post pics of any of your green 67-72 chevys, this old guy has a green 70 chevy, and I might be able to get it off of him sometime soon. It has green interier, and I was trying to figure out what shade of green to paint it if I get it.

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

i don't think you want beer from my keg, it's was the gas tank until i got a blazer tank. i ask what should i do with it, and people have thrown around the idea of beer, mountain dew, race fuel hooked to my fuel line through a junction and a switch... air tank, oil slick container with an electric something another, like i would run from the police or IRS or someone.

My 68, I was going to paint it silver but saw the 67 (link below) from a car show with worse paint, maybe I'll just put letters on the side.

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

Thats a nice truck see ten, what shade of green is that, that looks like a pretty good blazer beside it, I like those 73-75 blazers. 55 that 67s paint is pretty rugged, but it still looks cool, and the body looks solid. I went to a car show one time and seen what I thought was a old 40s ford, it was all rust, not a speck of paint on it, and I think it even had holes in it

The build sheet in the glovebox list the color as dark green. The code is 505 (I think). I had some touch up work done on it a while back and the color was listed as woodland green. That's my brother's blazer in the background. The blazer is a 74 with a 87 front clip. It looks a little rough but is a great driver.

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

Zeeklu, could you tell me the color number and or name on your truck?? Also is it a 68 (grill) or 67 ( no side markers) or a combo of such? I was thinking of deleting my side markers.
Reply here or message to me.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

Yeah Zeeklu please tell us, if I get the truck I'm gonna do it in 2 tone. About the same color green as seetens and the color green as zeeklus, or I will do it in shamrock green, a green gm used on the trucks in 79 and white.

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

It's the stock 67 Chevy truck color.http://autocolorlibrary.com/cgi-bin/...truck-pg01.jpg Light green. The truck is a 67 but I liked the look of the white grill . It's the same grill as a 68 only painted white. The white on the grill is the same 1967 white as the roof. The grill is supposed to be a little bit different white but I went with the same white as on the roof.If you want the DuPont color code I can go out to the garage and get it. Chris

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

Thanks Chris,
The Dupont code would be great!! The paint shop here doesn't have all of the chips, and color online looks entirely different than the real thing.
Thank you.

Re: Pictures of green 67-72 chevys

Just getting ready for bed. (I get up at 4AM) I'll get it for you after work tomorrow . The paint store didn't have it listed in their books but called DuPonts help line and got the code so I'm sure its correct. Chris
