The GOLDEN CAMEO

OKay I've got a pretty far out request for you guys, I have seen a pic of a show truck GM did in 67 , of a long fleet pulling a trailer with a 67 camaro on it. this truck had hideaway head lights and the same camro hood louvers. Ive been toying with putting the louvers on my 67 and was also looking for more onfo on this truck , or display( big camaro nut)

any body know what the heck im talking about or have any pics or info>>>> Thanks Matt

Re: The GOLDEN CAMEO

I know this is an ancient thread but I just saw this truck for the first time and found another pic of it I thought I would share.

Says it had a vinyl roof, carpet & bucket seats in addition to the Camaro hood louvers and RS style grille treatment.

This image is from the 1967 Chicago auto show. I'd love to see more pics of it.

I wonder what it had for an engine / trans and suspension.

Haven't seen or heard anything from Seth and Merideth Doulton for quite a while. Seth was a true pioneer of today's enthusiasm in restoration parts for pre-73 GM Trucks.

The aluminum grills and flat hood look gaudy to me in SS form, but here's a SS/Yenko concept.
