Yea, the price is for both of them. They have some rust on them but not too bad. You can click here to see pictures of the front doors. http://www.bright.net/~commagic/frontdoors.htm

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

I am interested in the front clip. Is that GM or repop sheet metal? Is there any rust on the inner side of the outer fenders and the core support? Thanks.

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

jberkley - Are you interested in just the glass pieces, or the complete wing assemblies that bolt into the door?

beaterc10 - It had been hit in the front at one time and rebuilt before I got it. So I think the fenders and hood are reproduction pieces. The core support has no rust on it and looks like it was probably new when they rebuilt it. I will get some pictures of the core support and inside fenders tomorrow.

muddytazzz - The steering column is non-tilt. Sorry.

Woody96 - Manual windows, sorry. I will get you a couple close up pics of the mirrors tomorrow.

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

jberkley - still trying to get everything apart to find out the weight. I'm hoping to get it tonight. I put some pictures of the mirrors up, but it also shows some of the wing windows if you want to take a look. The channel has some surface rust on it.

beaterc10 - I did get some pictures of the core support last night. Go to the website http://www.bright.net/~commagic/forsale.htm and click on core support at the bottom. Let me know what you think.

Woody96 - Got some pics of the mirrors. Go to http://www.bright.net/~commagic/forsale.htm and click on mirrors at the bottom. They aren't in that great of shape, but if you need a set for a driver they would be ok. Let me know what you think.

us111 - I'm not sure about the gauges working in a 78. I'm sure someone here can let you know if it will work or not. But, the shift indicator has already been sold. Sorry.

Exclamation Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

Keith, I'll take the mirrors.....please include all the hardware and the black gasket....
Listen, I am interested in both front door window rubber---all the rubber/gaskets around the door windows if it is in good shape......would you seperate it from the door maybe? Also, I am interested in the wing windows---IF, that is surperficial rust on there/the rubber/gaskets in the wing windows is still functional and somewhat supple/and the locking mechanism works good for both........LMK....IM me if you want and we might can work out some kind of package deal....

I am in Chapin, SC, 29036 zip for shipping.....

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

woody96 - let me get a couple better pictures of the mirrors after work today. I will be getting home while it is still daylight. I just want you to be sure of what they look like. They aren't in bad shape, but definitely aren't perfect. As far as the rubber goes, all of it is pretty much shot. It's hard and starting to crack. The wing windows are jberkeley's to take or turn down. i will let you know if he doesn't want them.

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

hey there... just got the page updated with the photos. Check it out. Like I said, they aren't perfect. As far as the other stuff, the rubbers are shot. I'd say when taking them off they would crumble. And jberkeley has dibs on the wing windows already. LMK about the mirrors.

Keith, I think they look better than what I have....couple things; do you think they will polish up a bit better, do they have any rust on them, and what would you want to mail/ship them to 29036, Chapin, SC? THANKS for the pix.....

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

woody96 - sent you a reply to your PM

jberkeley - I am going to take a lot of stuff apart/out tonight. I will definitley have a price for you this evening, and if you'd like anymore pictures of anything, just let me know. Just to be sure you know, the clock knob has already been sold off of the gauges, the shift indicator has been sold, and the bezel has been cut for a newer radio.

ric - My brother might have some. What width are you looking for?

Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio

15x8 with trim rings and centers in good shape. Don't really need tires, but will consider what might be on the rims.

Email me at videos@bright.net.

Price?

Pix?

Thanks.
