for a damaged cab. Over $750 and it didn't sell.........hmmm......

I wunder why it didn`t sell.I can`t imagine the reserve being higher.The cab off my`71 CustomCamper/20 had the same damage to the passenger side.Otherwise,it was a solid original paint cab,non-A/C,but uncut dash.I swapped it to a guy for dismantling the truck and sticking the motor/trans into another truck.He discovered the body shops want like $1,500 around here to cut it and put a new back panel on it.They want to cut the w/s posts and back of floor.Of course you need to cut up another cab.So,the cab corners would be off that second cab and you,re not going to cut up a cab with solid corners(or get one cheap).So,it`ll probably be a cab with corners needing replaced/good rain gutter area.Anyway,he`d be better off paying for a good undamaged cab.
