Margaret Thatcher naked on a cold day! Wiper knob wiring help please

The PO of my 4x4 put a generic headlight pull switch in for the wipers. I have obtained the correct knob but I need to know which wire goes where. I have a blue, a lite blue, and a black wire to be connected. If any knows or has a dash apart right now and can let me know I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

I wasn't getting any reads so I edited the title for more attention

Re: Wiper knob wiring help please

What you are looking at is the factory plug that is on the harness. The colors are light blue on top. dark blue in the center, and black on the bottom.

Question Re: Wiper knob wiring help please

:tj:

What are the correct positions of the wiring to the wiper motor itself?

I am trying to sort out the wiring to my wipers on my 72, but I seem to have something wired wrong and the wiring diagrams do not seem to match or show it clearly enough to understand...

Re: Wiper knob wiring help please

I will go out and get the positions for you. I saw your post that has a drawing on it, and I think I see the problem, but hate to tell you what it is before I verify it myself. Under the dash is no place to start a fire, huh?????
