Vin number question

My Vin # is "CE140B108451". Can someone help me in decoding this so I can learn a little about my truck. Thanks, Chris.

C = Conventional cab
S = six cylinder
1 =1/2 ton
4 = with a box (if it's step side what would the digit be? are there other options?
7 = 1967 model year?
Z = what assembly plant?

Thanks

Re: Vin number question

Z = Fremont, California

The model code (not the VIN) will tell you what kind of bed, etc. you have. You can find the 5-digit model code on the glovebox sticker.
