what is the best way to get the Blue junk off of your new tires.....I have scrubbed it with three different types of cleaner and it dont want to come off....there must be an easy way I just dont know it.....

I always just used Bleech White and a nylon bristle brush. Been a long time since I had white walls or letters facing out though, maybe they have a newer, stickier blue gunk??

Used a nylon bristle scrub brush with warm water and Dawn dishwashing liquid. Worked great.

well the last set of white letter tires i had i used bleach white and a brass brush i tryed a nylon one but it was taking forever to work

thanks all for the replys.....Bleech White and a brass wire brush finally got it off.......it came right off the letters getting it off the Blackwall was a whole different story.......

I think the newer blue stuff is stickier, I used a hot water power washer 3200 psi.......... blue stuff GONE!!! no elbow grease required! Glad to hear you got it off.

Tire dealer recently told me: don't leave the blue stuff on for several days in the sun or rain; "it's he** to get off later." Mine came right off, in the driveway.

Try using Fantastic brand household cleaner works very easy, & just like Bleech-White, maybe better, & is a lot cheaper ............... White letters/whitewalls get really white, and a brown gunk just runs off the blackwall part of the tires.

i use wesleys bleach white also, over time this stuff will eat through
the clear coat on wheels.

those of you that have clear coat wheel, be very careful cleaning them or you will take a clear coat off - over an extended period of time with repeated uses.

This blue stuff use to come off very easy. They must be using something else now. All I use to use was SOS Soap Pads and always came right off. Sometimes the tire dealer took that blue stuff off for me.

It's real easy. Tell your tire dealer to take it off before you pick up your truck. worked for me.

all of the methods above work great. Also soaking it awhile will cut down on the elbow grease!

You just can't beat Westly's Bleachwhite and the brass brush...when it comes to cleaning tires....for both the letters and the black sidewalls too.

I use dirt! Yeah I know it sounds crazy, but try it on white walls some time. Get a hand full of sand and get it wet then smear it on the area that needs attention and rub it in. Instant sand paper! Growing up as a poor country boy, I used what was available and dirt was cheap enough that even I could afford it....
