67 taillight trim on 69 bed???
Will the 67 style taillight trim work instead of the 69 style that surrounds the rear

So if I understand correctly , the 67 trim stood as itself outboard of the taillights, and 69 had the surround trim that replaced the outer only 67 style???

Yep, 67-68 were an eyebrow type, 69 up surrounds the entire light.
