Look What I Found !!!

We were on holidays on my Goldwing in September and I spotted this Black Burb 4X4 out of the corner of my eye in a small town. It was parked at a body shop and no one was around so I took the phone number off the building and called when I got home. Its turns out that the body shop has seized the Burb cause the Burbs owner owed the body shop some money and didnt pay. I guess it needs a trans and the motor is weak. It shows 96000 miles on the odometer and I'm sure like most Burbs its been around at least once. Its a Silverado loaded with rear air, buckets etc.. The body shop doesnt have the title to it and the owner wont give it up. As soon as the body shop can get a title I'm gonna buy it and bring it home. I been looking for along time for a black 4x4 Burb in decent shape that I can afford... Now all I gotta do is find an old cop car with an LT1 and automatic that I can drop in the Burb..

Re: Look What I Found !!!

The shop will have to file a mechanics lien on the truck. It might take awhile...

Thanks for the info. From what they told me they have already filed the mechanics lien. In order for me to import the truck to Canada I need an actual title or US Customs will not let me remove the Burb from the USA into Canada.

Yeah, that's a pretty sweet truck. Just keep a cool head about it. It's hard to do, I know...
