Posi what? 12-bolt, Eaton, Dana, what?
What exactly are you asking? A Dana 60 is a rear end, and a posi is a type of differential.

Ummm... you can get Posi in a Dana 60.
Posi is just a differential carrier that limits the amount of spin tire can have before it forces the other to turn also. A Dana 60 is an axle assembly. The question is comparing apples to oranges. Did you mean something like: Which is better, a Chevy 12-bolt or a Dana 60 or maybe, an Eaton Posi or a Detroit Locker?

Dana 60 w/ a powr-loc Vs what? Or just how good is it?
I think that most Dana axles are good (44, 60, 70, 80). The 44 up front in my 3/4-ton worries me slightly, but the 44 up front in the two 1/2s are fine for what I do. I think the 60 up front in my... um... non-Chevy is good, and the Dana 70 backing it up is good. None of my Chevys have a Dana in the rear, but I wouldn't mind one bit if they did. I have another non-Chevy that has a Dana 60 in the rear, it's 24 years old, and works just as well as the day it was made. It all depends on application. How much load, how much power, how big of tires, what type of surface. I prefer Eaton style posi units, because I have all around usage. I don't have four wheel drives so I can go climb rocks at Moab, but I have it so I can get home (seriously, It's required about 6 months out of the year). I also have 4 wheel drive to get around at the ranch, which is mostly sand and the rocks are sandstone. I don't know much about the powr loc unit, but I think it's basically a detroit locker. Detroits can get weird and squirrely on a paved road coated in ice (one of the conditions that require my 4 wheel drive). I think they do fine in mud (another thing I have to deal with). I have heard that the powr-lok unit isn't good for heavy duty stuff (big tires, or lots of power, or serious off-roading), but I have never owned one myself and can't tell you for sure. Eatons are a good all around posi. Slip a little going around corners like an open diff, but makes all four grab when it's black-ice time. Best of both worlds, imho.

Your poll is like asking
Fish or Salmon ? which do you prefer. I have a Posi Dana 60. Do I qualify for the twilight zone?
