?!?!@!@(%$*@#)argh!!!!!!!
I can't get the knob out of my new headlight switch!!!! POS Borg-Warner products!! I got a new switch since I thought it could be the reason my cluster lights aren't working, but no dice. Then the dome light function on the switch craps out. Turn to the left and it never even clicks. Now I can't get the knob out!! I depress the release button and it won't come out. It's binding on something. Anyone have any ideas? I'm about to buy a knob on ebay and cut the other one off!!!!

Pull the switch all the way on, then push the button and pull the knob out.

Re: ?!?!@!@(%$*@#)argh!!!!!!!
What they said, but pull your battery ground lead off first, or you'll be blasting your headlamps all over the place, and running down the battery.
Also -- check to see if you reconnected all the contacts on the new switch. Could be you're "open" on the dome light circuit.
