Why cant I post ???
I have been a member of this fine website for a couple of years now. I have always tried to be as polite and greatful with everyone that I have met.
Lately though, it seems that I have been suspended from posting on the parts site. Why???, I dunno.I have never sold anything on the site. I have contacted the site 4 times to try to see what we can do to work out this problem, but there is no reply from the administrators. Is anyone else having this problem with the site? Is it the new format? Has someone made a misteak on my account? I'm confused why its only the parts for sale section. Whats Up??? John

all for sale post and wtb are now changed to only subcribers can post the post but anyone can reply.think of it like a classified ad in the newspaper.hope this explains.

Definition of Irony, posting about not being able to post (sorry, I couldn't resist). In an effort to keep scammers out of the parts board, you are required to "suscribe" to the board for a small fee and you can post parts for sale. You can buy stuff off the board, just not sell. Hope that answers it simply for ya.

If I were a scammer, the investment in a board membership would be well worth what I'd rip somebody off for. I'm sure it's more for making money than anything. Can't blame somebody for wanting to get paid for their efforts though.

BTW nobody is making money off the subscriptions. It goes to provide the new server that allows us to have search again w/o crashing the board.
