Assembly Manuals
I think its about time I buy some new reading material, I have seen these books on EBAY for $35 +8 =$43 at my door. IS this a good deal or can I get it somewhere else cheaper. Or should I just stick with something like the Haynes or Chiltons manual.
What do you think?

Re: Assembly Manuals
Ahh, green bible, available from most retailers for $30. I use it often.

Re: Assembly Manuals
The assembly manual I bought from the old "Golden State Pickup Parts" reprint 6 yrs ago is so unorganized and incomplete. If you don't mind rifling through a lot of engineering drawings with very little narration, some of which you need an engineering degree to understand. It definitely contains plenty of useful data if you're doing a full frame off or just curious and have plenty of time to research.

Re: Assembly Manuals
I agree with farside847.
The service manual has been way more valuable to me than the assembly manual. |
