Need fender moulding help

I am trying to get the passenger side top fender moulding off, I cannot reach the clip that is closest to the door & the next one foward from there. Any tips or do I have to take the fender off?

im not completly sure, but I know I am planing on doing the same thing in the next month or so. I think you just need a short socket head and that should give you the clearence you need
