A new helper
It sure is nice to have my youngest help on the newest project...71 Blazer. We gutted the interior, pulled the front clip and removed the engine. Wow what a weekend.

Re: A new helper
That's a great feeling when they show interest and are out in the garage helping. When my son was about 13, I (we) bought a Sammy, thinking it would be a father/son project and his first car to beat. Well, it started out ok, he helped take it apart, but Ol dad had to put it all back together by himself. Oh well, it was still great!

Re: A new helper
My 8 year old shows no interest, but the 5 yr old wants to turn wrenches for me all the time.
