Re: resto 99% done. 68 GMC V6,

Thats a great story. Most of the guys on here would just take parts off a truck like that. I'm really impressed that you were able to restore it.

Took a lot of guts not to just trash that truck. That's excellent man, and great work no less.

Re: resto 99% done. 68 GMC V6,

WOW, great story. I am NEVER moving to MN if that's what my truck would look like 12 years after a frame off restro, snow plow or not. Is it safe to say that no original body parts were used? She looks great and I love 4x4's. It's great to see you kept it a GMC, but why the chevrolet horn button Great job, I'm sure your bro would be proud

With all those Longhorns in your collection, can you recommend someone that has pre-fab bedwood kits for the Longhorn? I'm yet to find one and really don't want to have to custom make each board. I'm not that experienced and don't have the time. Any help would be great!

Most of the venders that support this board have complete kits for a longhorn bed

Re: resto 99% done. 68 GMC V6,

That is an amazing story. I remember going to MN a few years ago. Talk about RUST. I saw cars that had their door skins rusted out to where you could see all the door mechanism, window channels, glass etc while it was driving down the road!! It was spring and nice day. Everbody was outside like they had been in hibernation all winter. They really appreciate their nice days there.

Re: resto 99% done. 68 GMC V6,

amazing story, and amazing resto on that. that thing looks like it went through hell in a salt-pit, and has amazingly been drug back. nice job on turning that body into something uglier than sin to something as pretty as a Bowtie. And some nice General Lee's on your site too (yes, curse me, I mentioned something that's a Mopar product, but I don't care, can't mess with the General, whether you're an Oval or Bowtie guy)
